Role Description
Our Client is seeking a proactive and innovative Social Media Specialist to build, engage, and manage organic social media for multiple DTC client accounts. This is a highly execution-oriented role that requires a blend of creative content production, technical SEO optimization, and rigorous analytics. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end content calendars, engage deeply with audiences on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, and use social listening to pivot strategies in real-time. This role demands exceptional time management and the ability to maintain brand standards across a variety of unique client voices.
Key Responsibilities

Content Development & Management:

Develops, schedules, and manually posts high-quality social media content (feeds, stories, Reels, and giveaways) for multiple DTC accounts.

Optimizes all content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by integrating relevant keywords and hashtags to enhance discoverability on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Maintains strict adherence to client brand guidelines and project briefs, ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.

Manages "boosts" and paid promotions for organic posts to maximize reach and engagement.

Community Engagement & Social Listening:

Conducts active social listening using tools like Iconosquare to monitor audience sentiment and track competitor strategies.

Engages directly with client communities through comments and DMs to foster brand loyalty and responsiveness.

Identifies trending topics and integrates real-time insights into weekly content and campaign strategies.

Strategy & Analytics:

Collaborates with the Organic Social Team Lead to develop data-driven strategies based on performance metrics and SEO findings.

Measures and reports on content performance monthly and quarterly using standardized templates and Iconosquare analytics.

Leverages predictive analytics and content generation tools to personalize audience engagement and streamline workflows.

Develops and submits weekly workload plans to ensure task prioritization and meeting of all deadlines.
Qualifications
-
1+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably for DTC brands in an agency or client-facing environment.

Strong mastery of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok; familiarity with Pinterest, LinkedIn, Reddit, or YouTube is a plus.

Proven knowledge of SEO for social media, including keyword research and trend analysis.

Proficiency with Iconosquare (scheduling/analytics), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software like Asana.

Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with a keen eye for brand aesthetics and storytelling.

Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the beauty industry and beauty-specific market trends.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.) for content creation.

Background in data-driven campaign testing and audience segmentation.
90-Day Success Plan

Days 1β30 (Onboarding):

The Specialist will master company workflows and Iconosquare scheduling, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and begin managing SEO-optimized content for an initial client account under supervision.

Days 31β60 (Execution):

The Specialist will independently manage two DTC accounts, integrating social listening insights into strategy proposals and delivering detailed monthly performance reports.

Days 61β90 (Ownership):

The Specialist will take full responsibility for multiple client accounts, meeting all deadlines without exception, leading content review sessions, and exploring expansion opportunities on secondary platforms like LinkedIn or Pinterest.
