Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Remote Healthcare Social Media Manager with deep operational expertise to lead social media execution across Forefront Dermatologyβs 300-clinic dermatology organization. This role is responsible for designing, managing, and scaling social media operations that support corporate brand goals while enabling local clinics, multiple service lines, and clinical teams to participate in a compliant, credible, and effective way.
This position is ideal for someone who understands the realities of healthcare marketing, including clinical accuracy, patient trust, regulatory requirements, and the complexity of working across clinics, providers, and service lines. This is not only a hands-on content creation role; it is a high-visibility leadership role focused on governance, process, and effective creative execution at scale. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building corporate, clinic, and B2B social media strategy from the ground up and executing on that vision.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, with consistent exposure and visibility to additional senior clinical and operational leadership.
Responsibilities

Own and oversee the enterprise social media operating model, including governance, workflows, approvals, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.

Develop and maintain healthcare-specific social media policies and playbooks, ensuring alignment with HIPAA, patient privacy, clinical accuracy, and reputational risk standards.

Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Communications, and Clinical leadership to ensure social media practices meet regulatory and organizational expectations.

Oversee social media execution across multiple clinics, service lines, and markets, creating scalable frameworks that enable local participation while maintaining brand integrity.

Design and distribute toolkits, templates, calendars, and guardrails, while monitoring local activity for compliance, accuracy, and alignment.

Ensure clinical credibility in all content by collaborating with physicians and clinical leaders to translate complex medical information into clear, patient-friendly messaging.

Oversee content production across internal teams and external partners, managing briefs, timelines, quality standards, and approvals to ensure efficient, compliant delivery.

Optimize social media processes, tools, and platforms to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation.

Track and report on operational and performance KPIs, including compliance adherence, engagement, audience growth, and business impact.

Support crisis and issue management on social platforms in coordination with marketing, compliance, and legal teams.
Qualifications

5+ years of social media management experience, preferably within a large, multi-location or regulated (healthcare) environment.

Proven success managing enterprise or multi-location social media programs and strategies.

Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, governance models, and workflows.

Experience managing external agencies and offshore content production teams.

Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, including HIPAA, patient privacy, and clinical accuracy.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally and using enterprise social media tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite), with preferred exposure to healthcare marketing, crisis communications, and team training initiatives.
Requirements

For this position, the base pay range is $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
