Role Description

The Social Media Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the enterprise social media marketing strategy for ChenMed’s public facing brands by developing tactical plans, ideating story concepts, creating content, and coordinating the distribution of content assets for multiple social channels. The incumbent's objective is to promote ChenMed brands as a leader in primary care for seniors by:

Increasing consumer awareness and preference
Driving key company initiatives
Engaging and responding to prospects and patients on social platforms

Essential job duties/responsibilities include:

Independently writing, editing, and producing on-brand, high-quality, engaging short and long-form content, including posts, graphics, messages, and videos.
Partnering with Social Media leadership to develop and plan strategies to promote brand awareness and drive growth through local and enterprise social channels.
Independently developing concepts for assets to promote content on social posts, including writing effective and concise copy and story ideation for multiple social accounts.
Collaboratively managing social amplification/ambassador program, including identifying, planning, and preparing content for distribution within social amplification software.
Preparing social media reports and insights, including downloading metrics from social platforms, preparing monthly report decks, and providing strategic recommendations on performing assets.
Using project management tools to plan and perform the production work of gathering assets, submitting them to social media management platform, and scheduling for distribution.
Collaboratively managing and maintaining the social media calendar, working with the senior manager to identify gaps in the calendar and control quality of the production process.
Ensuring prospect engagement by responding to customers and engaging with them through social messaging.
Monitoring social pages for reputation integrity and escalating negative reviews to the patient relations team.
Moderating comments with social media management tools to ensure community and brand guidelines are adhered to.
Performing ad hoc social media requests for local centers, including reviewing, authorizing, and scheduling content for distribution on center social pages.
Applying universal voice to all communications to ensure all patient and prospect communications are simple and easy to understand.
Performing other duties as assigned and modified at the manager’s discretion.
Attending daily digital marketing sprint huddle for updates.
Attending social media marketing webinars and trainings to learn new strategies and trade-based tools.

Qualifications

B.S. or B.A. Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, or related field
A minimum of 2 years in social media management experience required
General understanding of social media marketing principles
Curiosity and high aptitude for learning and experimenting

Requirements

Must have excellent written skills and the ability to create a variety of content, including videos
Experience with social media on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube
Storyteller, editor, strategist, and specialist, comfortable editing posts, developing new content ideas, and determining distribution strategies
Thrive in fast-paced environments and can roll up sleeves to support social media initiatives
Take initiative and is self-directed
Comfortable collaborating with multiple leaders
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Spoken and written fluency in English required
Spoken and written fluency in Spanish preferred but not required
