[Hiring] Social Media Manager @BitMEX

Role Description

You are the Social Media Manager, tasked with creating, maintaining, and expanding our social media accounts. You oversee the management and growth of the brand’s social media channels across major platforms to be aligned with broader marketing campaigns and strategise stand-alone social campaigns to increase user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage large social media campaigns to fuel the growth of existing social media channels.
• Create new ideas and concepts for fresh social media content.
• Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.
• Coordinate social media management to align with large projects, events, community management, and more.
• Collaborate with the design team to create multimedia visual briefs to support social media content and communications.
• Analyse and report the success of social media projects by implementing social media monitoring tools such as community engagement, content performance, and other KPIs.
• Work with marketing team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy.
• Be the first point of contact in our social media communities: supporting and responding to members; monitor social listening on a daily basis and escalating when needed.
• Report directly to the PR & Brand Manager, proposing and implementing best social media practices across all social channels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years social media / marketing / coordination experience.
• Exposure to established social media management tools & technologies.
• Experienced with listening and monitoring platforms (e.g. Hootsuite).
• Knowledge of social media KPIs and best practices (e.g. X, TikTok).
• Knowledge and interest in the cryptocurrency space & its community.
• Well organized, ability to work well with internal stakeholders, and deliver on time.
• Ability to find the right tone of voice for different audiences within the community.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experienced in social media content writing.
• Self-Motivated, Enthusiasm.
• Detail-oriented.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Crypto Twitter.
