We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who can think, write, and operate like an extension of our leadership team. This role is not about posting content. It’s about building presence, shaping voice, and driving conversations for:

You will be responsible for writing high-quality LinkedIn and other social media content, engaging in meaningful conversations, and helping position our leadership as thoughtful, credible voices in the space.
What You’ll Do

Executive Content Creation

Write LinkedIn posts for the CEO and CTO in their distinct voices
-
Translate ideas, experiences, and conversations into clear, engaging content
-
Maintain consistency in tone, perspective, and positioning

Capture real insights, not generic content

Lago Brand Content
-
Write and manage posts for Lago’s company page
-
Align content with business goals, hiring efforts, and brand positioning
-
Highlight wins, insights, and behind-the-scenes moments
-
Ghostwriting & Voice Ownership

Deeply understand how the CEO and CTO think, speak, and communicate
-
Adapt tone between personal, thoughtful, and authoritative when needed
-
Ensure content feels authentic, not outsourced

LinkedIn Engagement
-
Actively engage on behalf of the CEO, CTO, and Lago

Write thoughtful comments that build relationships and visibility

Identify relevant conversations and insert our voice where it matters

Turn engagement into inbound opportunities over time

Content Strategy & Iteration

Track what performs and why

Continuously refine content style and structure

Bring new ideas for positioning, storytelling, and growth

Qualifications

Strong writer with the ability to sound human, sharp, and clear

+2 years with advanced experience in storytelling

+2 years of experience in content strategy and performance

Proven experience writing on LinkedIn, ideally for founders or executives
-
Deep understanding of how LinkedIn actually works, including engagement, tone, and timing
-
Ability to drive engagement and visibility organically

Ability to capture and replicate someone else’s voice
-
High attention to detail and consistency
-
Self-starter who can take rough ideas and turn them into finished content
-
Advanced English proficiency +C1
Nice to Have

Experience working with startups or recruiting firms

Familiarity with tech, hiring, or outsourcing

Ability to turn long-form thoughts into concise, high-impact posts
