[Hiring] Social Media Assistant @Remote Recruitment

Role Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Social Media Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning the daily social media calendar.

You will keep a UK brand active and engaging online. You will schedule posts, create simple graphics, reply to comments and report on what works across the main platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
• Create simple graphics and short videos
• Respond to comments and messages in the brand voice
• Track engagement and report weekly on results
• Research trends and content ideas

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media for a brand or business
• Experience with Canva and a scheduler such as Metricool or Buffer
• Strong written English and an eye for good content
• Basic understanding of social media analytics
• Reliability with deadlines

Requirements

• Experience editing short video with CapCut (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with paid social basics (Nice to have)
• Experience writing captions for a UK audience (Nice to have)
