Role Description

As a Social Media Assistant, you will represent a growing B2B SaaS company selling into manufacturing across LinkedIn and beyond, on behalf of their VP and leadership team. This is not a content creation role; your job is to get existing content in front of the right audience and build real relationships in the comments.

• Cross-post the VP's and team's LinkedIn content to other channels via Hootsuite weekly (top priority)
• Build real relationships with the client's top 15–20 named industry influencers through specific, human comments
• Engage warmly with roughly 1,000 ICP connections whenever they post
• Escalate anything ambiguous or high-stakes rather than guessing
• Hours split across cross-posting and both engagement passes; grows as results come in

Qualifications

• Write excellent, natural, professional English
• Proven LinkedIn engagement, commenting, or community management experience for a brand or executive
• Match a client's voice consistently, nothing that reads as AI-generated
• Comfortable in a technical B2B space (AI, CPQ, manufacturing) without being an expert
• Know Hootsuite for scheduling, and Claude for light research/drafting support
• Work independently in a role that expands as it proves out
• Available Monday to Friday with some live overlap with U.S. Central Time

• You can read a technical B2B pitch and comment smart without being an expert

• You flag ambiguous or high-stakes situations instead of guessing

Benefits

• Salary range: $220-$264/month
