Role Description
This role involves building and scaling vertical video content for Monarch Money, a modern personal finance platform.

Develop and execute short-form video formats aligned with Monarchโs mission, voice, and brand values

Own the full content lifecycle including ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing support

Translate personal finance concepts into clear, engaging, and relatable vertical video

Create high-quality, platform-native content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Experiment with hooks, storytelling styles, and visual approaches to maximize retention and reach

Collaborate with Snowball and Monarchโs Brand and Creative teams to ensure accuracy and alignment

Work with Snowball to analyze performance data and continuously optimize content strategy

Stay current on platform trends, best practices, and evolving short-form formats
Qualifications

3+ years of experience creating short-form video content with a strong portfolio

Intermediate to advanced video editing skills in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent

Strong videography skills including camera operation, lighting, framing, and audio capture

Proven ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, and relatable content

Strong on-camera presence or the ability to direct talent effectively

Strong interest in personal finance, consumer apps, or educational content
Requirements

Ability to produce polished content with efficient turnaround times in a fast-paced environment

Ability to independently film high-quality content, whether using professional equipment or mobile setups
