Role Description
We’re hiring an SEO Strategist to own organic growth end-to-end — from strategy to execution. You will be responsible for building a compounding growth engine across:

Google search

AI-native surfaces (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)

Programmatic and product-driven SEO
This is a high-ownership role. You won’t just optimize pages — you’ll design systems, build content moats, and create leverage.
Key Responsibilities

Own SEO strategy end-to-end

Define how Retell wins across search and AI discovery channels

Build content as “source of truth”

Create and maintain core content pillars that dominate key topics

Ensure consistency across docs, blog, landing pages, and product

Design scalable growth systems

Build programmatic SEO and repeatable content loops

Turn one idea into hundreds or thousands of high-quality pages

Leverage AI deeply
-
Use AI to generate, maintain, and evolve content
-
Build workflows that keep content fresh and accurate over time
-
Own technical SEO and on-page optimization
-
Improve site architecture, indexing, crawlability, and performance
-
Continuously optimize pages for both ranking and conversion

Partner with product and engineering
-
Embed SEO into product surfaces and user workflows
-
Influence how the product itself generates organic growth
-
Experiment aggressively
-
Test unconventional ideas
-
Move fast, learn fast, and double down on what works
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in SEO or growth roles
-
Proven track record of driving 10x+ growth through SEO
-
Strong experience with technical SEO and on-page optimization
-
Hands-on execution — you don’t just plan, you ship

Experience using AI tools to scale content and workflows

Cash: 120k-160k per year

US Visas: Retell AI is open to sponsoring work authorization for qualified candidates, including H1B/H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, F-1 (OPT/CPT), and O-1 visas.

If Remote: the position will be contract with an hourly rate of: $55-$75 hourly with no equity

Interview Process

Resume Screening (15 min): Look for real growth metrics (not vanity work) and evidence of 10x outcomes

SEO Deep Dive (45 min): Walk through past projects, what worked, what didn’t, why, and identify true ownership vs surface-level involvement

Onsite (2–3 hours): Live Strategy Exercise - “How would you grow Retell from X → Y using SEO?” Evaluate thinking in systems, prioritization, creativity
