Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on SEO Strategist to develop and execute organic and local search strategies for a portfolio of law firm clients. You are not just a strategist who hands work off. You own the execution from audit through reporting and are deeply invested in client outcomes.

A core requirement for this role is deep expertise in Local SEO for businesses with physical locations. You need to understand what drives local rankings, how to diagnose performance issues, and how to measure local visibility at scale.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute organic and local SEO strategies for a portfolio of law firm clients, aligned to real business growth goals
• Conduct technical, content, and backlink audits using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Local Falcon
• Build prioritized SEO roadmaps based on audit findings, performance data, and competitive analysis
• Execute local SEO initiatives including Google Business Profile optimization, localized content improvements, local link acquisition, and reputation strategy
• Analyze local ranking factors including proximity, SERP behavior, prominence, relevance, and trust signals
• Partner with developers, designers, and content teams to implement technical and UX improvements
• Support link building, outreach, and digital PR initiatives
• Deliver clear, results-focused performance reporting and strategic recommendations to clients
• Stay current on algorithm updates, local search changes, emerging tools, and AI-driven search developments
• Contribute to internal documentation, workflow improvements, and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency environment
• Deep expertise in Local SEO for storefront or service-based businesses, including knowing what drives rankings and how to diagnose issues
• Advanced knowledge of technical SEO, on-page optimization, schema, site structure, and link strategy
• Strong working command of Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously without dropping the ball
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable strategies
• Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML or CSS
• Strong client communication and presentation skills
• A proactive, execution-focused mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and act on them

Requirements

• Experience supporting law firms or in legal marketing (Nice-to-Have)
• Background working with multi-location clients (Nice-to-Have)
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Looker Studio, or similar reporting platforms (Nice-to-Have)
• Experience in conversion optimization, content strategy, or paid media collaboration (Nice-to-Have)
• Experience incorporating AI tools into SEO workflows or research (Nice-to-Have)
