Role Description
This is a hands-on SEO role where execution, technical depth, and measurable performance matter.
A well-established Australian property and disaster restoration company is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to own and execute its organic search strategy for a direct-to-consumer brand. This role focuses on building organic presence from a brand-new domain β executing a structured 12-week SEO roadmap across foundation, development, and maintenance phases.
Youβll work independently within a defined execution framework, driving rankings, traffic, and qualified inbound leads.

Take full ownership of organic performance β from keyword strategy to technical health to local visibility.
Keyword Research & Strategy
-
Conduct comprehensive keyword research targeting service terms across local suburbs using SEMrush.

Build tiered keyword lists (Tier 1 active targets, Tier 2 monitoring) mapped to specific pages.

Prevent keyword cannibalisation through structured planning.

Conduct baseline and ongoing competitor audits.

Prioritise suburbs based on search volume, competition, and commercial value.
On-Page & Technical SEO
-
Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, headings, schema markup, internal linking, and image alt text.

Implement and maintain LocalBusiness and Service schema.
-
Manage Google Search Console (sitemaps, indexing, crawl errors).
-
Maintain technical site health including page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals.

Build internal linking architecture using a hub-and-spoke model.
Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Set up, optimise, and actively manage Google Business Profile (Service Area Business).

Maintain NAP consistency across local directories.
-
Develop suburb-level landing pages with unique, localised content.

Implement review generation strategies.
-
Expand suburb coverage based on performance data.
Link Building & Content Optimisation

Develop and execute structured link-building outreach.
-
Coordinate SEO optimisation of published content.

Track link acquisition and outreach performance.
Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
-
Set up and manage GA4, Google Tag Manager, and call tracking.
-
Monitor keyword rankings, search visibility, and domain authority.
-
Deliver structured milestone reports (Week 9 & Week 12).

Use data to drive optimisation and prioritisation decisions.
Workflow & Collaboration
-
Manage tasks and documentation within Notion.
-
Collaborate using AI tools (e.g., Claude AI) to streamline workflows.
-
Communicate progress and blockers proactively to leadership.
Qualifications
-
Based in the Philippines and seeking a full-time remote role.

3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, particularly in local or service-based industries.

Strong technical SEO capability (Search Console, schema markup, site audits, crawl analysis, Core Web Vitals).

Proven experience managing Google Business Profile and local SEO strategies.

Highly proficient in SEMrush.
-
Experience setting up and interpreting GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
-
Comfortable working within Notion for task management and documentation.
-
Communicate clearly and confidently in written and verbal English.

Can work independently within a structured execution plan.
Requirements

Experience launching SEO from a brand-new domain.

Experience in property services, restoration, or emergency-response industries.

Familiarity with Surfer SEO, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.

Understanding of how paid media complements organic search.

Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity.
