Role Description

This is a remote position.

Are you a skilled SEO and WordPress expert with a passion for optimizing website performance and enhancing digital visibility? Makers’ Muse is looking for a talented individual to manage the complete maintenance, optimization, and growth of our website. You will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless, high-performing, and secure website while driving strong organic growth through proven SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Optimization:
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis.
  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to boost rankings and visibility.
  • Optimize website content, meta descriptions, and backlinks.
  • Monitor and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, tools, and Google algorithm updates.
• WordPress Website Management:
  • Perform regular updates for WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
  • Troubleshoot and promptly resolve technical and functionality issues.
  • Optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  • Manage backups, security protocols, and ensure website uptime.
• Content Management:
  • Add, edit, and format website content and blog posts.
  • Optimize images, videos, and multimedia for SEO and faster load times.
  • Maintain a consistent, user-friendly, and visually appealing website design.
• Security and Backups:
  • Implement robust security measures to prevent vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Regularly back up website data and ensure secure storage solutions.
• Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and report on website traffic, SEO performance, and key metrics.
  • Use insights to suggest and implement continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in WordPress CMS, WooCommerce (if any), and other common plugins.
• Solid grasp of technical SEO, website architecture, and structured data.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS basics, and website hosting management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and proactively suggest improvements.
• Passion for staying current with the latest digital marketing and WordPress trends.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress and CMS structure.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (bonus).
• Familiarity with popular WordPress themes and plugins.
• Passion for web development and eagerness to learn.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Benefits

• Pay Scale: 2.4 LPA to 3 LPA
• Working Hours: 10.00 a.m. - 06.00 p.m.
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Probation Period: 3 months
• Experience: 0.6 - 1 year
