Role Description
This role involves optimizing the online presence and visibility of our SaaS company through strategic search engine optimization techniques.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute SEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research and analyze website performance data
- Involved in content optimization and link building
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
- Complete work orders to drive up traffic and improve rankings
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field is highly preferred but not required
- 1-4+ years of experience in digital marketing and SEO
- Familiarity with SEO concepts, content strategy, website design U/I, and Google Analytics
- Google Analytics and AdWords Certification is a plus
- Excellent communicator (verbally and in writing) with interpersonal skills
- Interest in and ability to learn Google Analytics
- Strong commitment to learning and understanding SEO trends and best practices
- Commitment to honesty/ethics, punctuality, attendance, client success, innovation, teamwork, and professionalism
- Solid conflict resolution skills
- Extremely organized and able to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and HTML, CSS, and WordPress
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Requirements
- Updating client websites with new content or simple changes and optimizing the site
- Utilizing Screaming Frog to find and fix broken links
- Performing site speed checks and visibility checks (including mobile visibility)
- Submitting sitemaps and performing website audits
- Assisting with monthly reporting and implementing meta data best practices
- Driving organic traffic to client’s site and increasing new patient acquisition
- Utilizing Google Analytics and communicating with clients over the phone or via email
- Developing and implementing effective SEO strategies
- Conducting keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases
- Optimizing website content, including meta tags, headings, and URLs
- Collaborating with the marketing team to define target audience and develop SEO strategies
- Analyzing website performance and recommending improvements
- Monitoring and analyzing website traffic, rankings, and user engagement
- Identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations
- Staying up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices
- Conducting competitive analysis to identify link building opportunities
- Developing and executing link building strategies
- Collaborating with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed
- Working closely with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with overall marketing strategies
- Collaborating with web developers to implement on-page SEO recommendations
- Coordinating with content creators to ensure SEO optimization in new content creation
- Collaborating with the social media team to promote content and engage with online communities
- Conducting research on competitors' SEO strategies
- Sharing insights and recommendations with the team
