[Hiring] Senior Software Product Marketing Manager @Universal Audio

Role Description

We're hiring a Senior Software Product Marketing Manager to turn our product plans into go-to-market strategies and plans. Working closely with Software Product Management, you'll root every plan in validated market problems, then shape them into positioning and messaging that resonates with target personas in their own language.

Your main deliverable is the GTM Strategy and Requirements Plan:

• Who we're selling to
• The value we offer
• How we stack up against competitors
• What sales and channel partners need to sell it well

That plan becomes the foundation for the broader Integrated Commercial Plan, which you'll help drive with teams across the company, from first pitch through a successful launch.

Qualifications

• Experience in music recording and creation technology including effects processors and plug-ins, digital audio workstations, recording interfaces, and virtual instruments strongly preferred.
• Experience with the Pragmatic Institute framework, particularly outside-in messaging and persona-driven positioning.
• Strong data literacy and reporting skills, with the ability to use PLG (product-led growth) motions and data to drive decisions and report results to executive leadership and broader teams.
• Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization.
• Marketing experience across multiple domains (brand, social, artist, growth, lifecycle) preferred.
• Experience with writing or video production is a strong plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (or the equivalent Google Workspace tools).
• Passion for music, whether as a creator, performer, or enthusiast.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of marketing or product management experience.
