Role Description
Chartis Interactive is looking for a Senior SEO Consultant to support execution of SEO projects across key clients. Candidates need to have hands-on experience of improving client rankings and visibility in the search engines and collaborate with SMEs in paid search, content, development teams, and analytics.
Senior SEO Consultants are responsible for supporting SEO strategy with hands-on activities such as:

Keyword research and analysis

Search insights

Content gap analysis

Technical site audits

Off-site brand assets

Creating page-level recommendations

Competitive assessments and briefs/requirements for implementation

Managing reporting
Candidates should possess a very strong understanding of the search engine marketing industry across keywords and content, technology, and off-page assessments. Candidates should enjoy problem-solving while developing their SEO and consulting skillsets.
Qualifications

Passionate about Digital Marketing, SEO/Search and desire to learn, experiment and innovate

Proven SEO experience, 4-6 years

Subject matter expert understanding of technical and content elements that impact organic search performance rankings

Proficient in identifying issues and areas of improvement with SEO performance

Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and LLM prompt development and constraints as it relates to SEO
-
Knowledge of organic search ranking factors and search engine algorithms
-
Previous experience working across multiple brands or enterprise websites highly desired

Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Requirements

Understand clientsβ organic growth and marketing objectives to support SEO strategy execution lead by SEO Lead/Manager

Conduct keyword research and thematic segmentation based on intent, themes, and other actionable insights

Analyze search landscape to evaluate intent, competitors, and successful tactics for visibility

Collaborate with team members on strategy development and execution roadmap planning

Map search behaviors to landing pages and audit client website for visibility
-
Perform technical performance assessments to identify optimization opportunities
-
Provide detailed page-level recommendations and strategic briefs
-
Collaborate with client or agency copywriters to provide search insights
-
Audit client sites for technical issues impeding search visibility
-
Eagerness and proven methods to test/learn new approaches
-
Review paid search campaign and keyword performance as an input to SEO analysis
-
Audit brands' external digital footprint to improve overall brand presentation

Update reports and dashboards for SEO performance

Identify new and emerging opportunities in search, best practices, and industry updates
-
Develop insights and actions based on qualitative and quantitative data analysis
