Role Description
This role has strategic ownership of product marketing and market execution for Mytonomy, Patient Education and Care Planning within the North American healthcare provider nursing market. The Senior Marketing Manager will shape and deliver marketing strategy that builds brand awareness, generates demand, supports customer engagement and contributes to commercial outcomes.
While accountable for these specific solutions, the role works closely with the Director of Marketing, Nursing, NOAM to align with the broader Nursing marketing strategy and support connections across other Nursing products and relevant enterprise offerings.
Operating as a senior individual contributor, the role is expected to anticipate needs, frame problems and opportunities before solutions are discussed, and bring clear, data-grounded recommendations. The Senior Marketing Manager will serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, using customer, market, competitive and performance insight to influence priorities and decisions.
Responsibilities

Owning and helping shape the NOAM (North America) product marketing strategy for Mytonomy, Patient Education and Care Planning, in alignment with the broader Nursing portfolio direction.

Partnering closely with the Director of Marketing, Nursing, NOAM to align product-level plans, priorities and execution with the broader NOAM Nursing marketing strategy.

Leading and executing marketing programs for their products against defined targets, including new customer acquisition, lead generation, revenue and migration.

Framing market problems and opportunities using customer insight, market conditions, competitive intelligence, sales feedback and performance data.

Planning and executing integrated digital and in-person activities, including email, marketing automation, webinars, paid advertising, social media, content marketing and conferences.

Driving thought leadership and digital content strategies across SEO-optimized content, webinars, social media and content syndication.

Partnering with the Director of Marketing, Nursing, NOAM to identify opportunities to connect Mytonomy, Patient Education and Care Planning with other Nursing products.

Supporting relationships with key organizations, business partners and content development partners.

Developing and executing event and trade show strategies for priority persona groups.

Developing digital and physical collateral, landing pages, campaign creative and sales enablement materials.

Developing targeted, value-based messaging grounded in a deep understanding of the clinical nursing environment.

Managing the marketing budget and related priorities and investments.

Gathering market intelligence, client feedback and competitive insight to inform the positioning and prioritization of Mytonomy, Patient Education and Care Planning.

Contributing customer and sales insight to the product requirements process.

Defining meaningful success measures before work begins and regularly assessing program effectiveness.

Providing the Director of Marketing, Nursing, NOAM with clear and regular reporting on program performance.

Connecting insights and performance across initiatives.

Collaborating across Elsevier marketing groups and stakeholders to maintain brand standards.

Enabling the sales force with clear segmentation, product messaging, competitive positioning, collateral and timely knowledge transfer.

Creating clarity across differing priorities and leading cross-functional conversations.
Qualifications

8+ years of integrated marketing experience, including direct marketing, thought leadership and content marketing, public relations and events.

Bachelorβs degree or equivalent required; MBA highly valued; clinical credentials are a plus.

Experience developing and maintaining marketing strategies that support organizational and commercial objectives.

Healthcare provider or hospital marketing experience preferred.

Experience leading major marketing campaigns, product launches and integrated programs across digital and in-person channels.

Understanding of customer and market dynamics, competitive context and requirements.

Understanding of buying processes and buyer personas within healthcare providers.

Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and decisions without direct authority.

Able to travel around 10% of the time.
