Role Description
Looking for Philippines-based candidates
Job Role: Senior Marketing Manager
Compensation range: $3,500 AUD - $4,500 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: You will work standard Philippine business hours with a requirement to overlap with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) for a minimum of 3-4 hours per day for collaboration sessions.
This is a senior marketing role for an experienced professional who is excited about using AI to scale their impact. You’ll take strategic direction from leadership and turn it into high-quality marketing execution using AI tools, working quickly and at scale without losing quality. You’ll act as the day-to-day owner of the brand, driving growth, shaping messaging, and improving audience engagement with strong ownership, while also serving as the final quality gate to ensure everything is accurate, on-brand, and genuinely valuable before it goes live.
We are moving from an external agency model to an in-house, AI-powered setup. This is a deliberate shift to improve quality, not reduce cost. You will be the first hire in this model, responsible for building the system, setting workflows, training AI on our brand voice, and establishing the standard. Over time, you may grow a small team, but initially you will be expected to own both strategy and execution end to end.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Strategy & Growth
-
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned to business development goals
-
Identify new channels, formats, and tactics to grow brand awareness and lead generation
-
Stay ahead of AI marketing tools and bring new capabilities to the team proactively
-
Build the marketing function to be a genuine competitive advantage for the business
-
Brand Ownership
-
Own, protect, and evolve our brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all channels
-
Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand guide that keeps AI outputs on-brand
-
Act as the brand guardian — every piece of content reflects your standards, not a template
-
Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen brand positioning in the market
-
Brains Trust Interface
-
Run structured weekly sessions with the MD, Chief Revenue Officer and Directors to extract strategic thinking and content ideas
-
Convert unstructured ideas, conversations, and expertise into polished marketing briefs
-
Use Loom recordings, meeting notes, and voice content from the ELT as raw material
-
Build a content capture system that makes it easy for busy executives to contribute without friction
-
AI-Assisted Content Production
-
Use Claude and HubSpot Breeze and other relevant AI tools to draft, refine, and personalise content at scale
-
Develop a prompt library and content templates that produce consistently high-quality output
-
Repurpose core content across LinkedIn, email, case studies, proposals, and thought leadership
-
Review and edit all AI-generated content before publication — your name is on everything
-
Campaign & Channel Management
-
Plan and execute integrated campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and content marketing
-
Manage HubSpot CRM and marketing automation — sequences, workflows, lead nurturing, and reporting
-
Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify target audiences and support BD outreach
-
Produce proposals, capability statements, case studies and client-facing collateral using Canva (or equivalent tool) and load up proposals to PandaDoc for signing
-
Use AI to generate draft content for Sales Managers to review and send to clients to progress deals
-
Track performance, report on results, and continuously optimise based on data
Qualifications
-
15+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant time in a marketing agency or the marketing side of B2B professional services environment
-
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
-
Experience working with technical or professional services businesses highly regarded
-
Demonstrated track record of running multi-channel marketing independently, not just as part of a large team
-
Strong proficiency in HubSpot CRM
-
LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience
-
Hands-on experience with Claude (AI tool)
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
-
Exceptional written English with clear, precise, and engaging communication
-
Strong editorial judgment and high quality standards
-
Strong eye for design and visually compelling content
-
Strategic mindset with a hands-on execution approach
-
Systems thinker who builds scalable processes and workflows
-
Comfortable working independently across time zones with minimal supervision
-
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to extract input from busy teams
