[Hiring] Senior Manager, Marketing Resource Management @American Bible Society

Role Description

The Marketing Resource Management, Senior Manager is responsible for managing the flow of work across the marketing department — owning resource casting, load-balancing, and capacity planning to ensure the right talent is matched to each program, campaign, and project. This role maintains the cross-portfolio view of all work flowing through the department, enabling effective prioritization and informed decision-making across Creative and Digital Marketing.

This role sources, onboards, and manages vendor and freelancer relationships — building a flexible bench of external partners to extend team capacity when internal resources are at capacity. The Marketing Resource Management, Senior Manager monitors individual utilization and skill development, identifying training needs and growth opportunities that strengthen Creative and Digital Marketing’s overall capability and quality.

Additional responsibilities include communicating resource constraints and availability to Program Management and leadership, enabling informed scope and timeline decisions. Based upon department needs, the Marketing Resource Management, Senior Manager may assume responsibilities associated with Program Management to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in resource management, production management, or marketing operations within an external or in-house agency environment. Non-profit or mission-driven organization experience preferred.
• Experience with Workamajig, Monday.com, Workfront, NetSuite, or other integrated operations tools.
• Skilled in maintaining production calendars, load-balancing resources, and managing skill matrices.
