[Hiring] Senior Community Manager @OurTeam

Role Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced, Arabic-speaking Community Manager based in Egypt to work remotely with a leading international creative and marketing agency, supporting sports-related brands, campaigns, and clients across Dubai and the wider Middle East.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising, creative, digital marketing, or social media agencies, with proven hands-on experience managing online communities, engaging audiences, publishing social media content, and maintaining brand reputation. A strong understanding of sports culture, fan engagement, and sports-related social media trends is highly desirable.

This is an execution-focused position requiring a proactive, self-sufficient professional who can independently manage daily community management activities, coordinate with agency teams, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Management & Engagement
  • Manage and engage with online communities across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and audience inquiries in Arabic and English.
  • Moderate online discussions, manage audience feedback, and handle sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Build positive relationships with online audiences while maintaining brand tone of voice and communication standards.
  • Identify engagement opportunities, community trends, and audience interests to strengthen brand loyalty.
• Social Media Content & Publishing
  • Schedule, format, and publish organic social media content, including captions, graphics, and videos.
  • Maintain and execute social media content calendars across multiple platforms.
  • Coordinate with creative and content teams to ensure timely and consistent publishing.
  • Keep social media profiles updated and ensure brand consistency across channels.
• Sports & Fan Engagement
  • Support community engagement for sports brands, campaigns, sporting events, and sponsorship activities.
  • Monitor sports-related conversations, trending topics, and fan interactions.
  • Engage effectively with sports audiences and online fan communities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase audience participation and engagement during sporting events and campaigns.
• Agency & Client Coordination
  • Manage daily community management activities for assigned agency clients.
  • Collaborate with creative, social media, content, and account management teams.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Independently manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a remote working environment.
  • Escalate sensitive community issues appropriately and promptly.

Qualifications

• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong professional English communication skills.
• Currently based in Egypt and comfortable working fully remotely with Dubai-based clients.
• Preferably 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including substantial hands-on community management responsibilities.
• Proven experience within an advertising, creative, digital marketing, or social media agency.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media communities for established brands or agency clients.
• Strong knowledge of community engagement, moderation, online reputation management, and audience interaction.
• Practical experience in organic social media publishing, content scheduling, and community monitoring.
• Good understanding of sports culture, sports audiences, fan behavior, and social media trends.
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Brandwatch, or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
