Role Description

As the Reddit marketer and community manager for a client, you own their presence on Reddit. You run their disclosed Reddit account and their subreddit, and you are the voice that represents them in the communities that matter to them.

• This is not paid advertising; it is earning a trusted place in a community on behalf of a brand.
• Understand the client deeply: what they sell, who buys it, and how they talk about themselves.
• Use our platform to surface every conversation worth joining.
• Objective: make the brand a welcome, trusted member of the communities it belongs in, and build genuine goodwill over time.

We are hiring for two clients:

• Client A: Destination weddings - Helping couples plan and book weddings abroad.
• Client B: Furnished mid-term rentals - Furnished apartments rented by the month for travel nurses, remote workers, and people relocating for a job.

Each client requires:

• 15 to 25 hours a month
• Compensation: $800 to $1,100 a month

If you qualify for both, you can run both, which is $1,600 to $2,200 a month.

This is a part-time, freelance role with no fixed hours, except for 1 to 2 hours of meetings a week per client.

Qualifications

• Deep Reddit knowledge: understanding of the culture, what earns traction, and what gets removed.
• A marketing background: content, social media, SEO, or AEO/GEO. Agency experience is a plus.
• Real enthusiasm for the brand you would represent.
• Genuine interest in the space: weddings, travel, relocation, remote work, or housing.
• A level head in public: ability to handle negative experiences as the brand.
• Ability to write like a person, not a marketer.

Requirements

• Standing it up from zero: Create the brand's Reddit account and warm it up from zero karma.
• Community engagement: Work from a prioritized thread queue, commenting, posting, and running AMAs.
• Community growth: Help build and run the client's subreddit, keeping it active and welcoming.
• Community intelligence: Flag what buyers are saying and what is worth acting on.
