Role Description
We are looking for a
Product Marketing Manager
to define how Matomo is positioned, understood and brought to market as we strengthen our go-to-market motion and expand our reach with larger organisations.
You will connect customer and market insight with Product, Marketing and Sales, sharpening our positioning and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), turning product capabilities into compelling customer value, and ensuring teams have the messaging, launches and enablement they need to drive adoption and revenue.
This is an opportunity to take real ownership of product marketing at Matomo, shape how we compete in a rapidly evolving analytics market and make our value clear to customers around the world.
Why this role matters
-
Matomo has built a globally recognised product on the foundations of open source, privacy and data ownership.
-
We need to become equally strong at explaining why Matomo matters, who it matters most to and why organisations should choose us over the alternatives.
-
Product Marketing sits at the centre of that challenge.
What you will own
-
Positioning and messaging:
Define and continuously strengthen Matomo's positioning, messaging and value propositions, translating technical capabilities into clear customer and business value.
-
Customer and market insight:
Build a systematic understanding of our customers, buyers and markets using customer research, sales conversations, support feedback, product usage and market intelligence.
-
Go-to-market strategy:
Own product marketing strategy and planning for key product and feature launches, partnering with Product, Sales and Marketing from early positioning through launch and adoption.
-
Prioritisation and commercial judgement:
Make informed trade-offs across product launches, sales opportunities, customer needs and strategic marketing priorities.
-
Sales enablement:
Give Sales the narratives, competitive intelligence and tools they need to sell effectively across acquisition, expansion and renewal.
-
Market and competitive intelligence:
Build a strong understanding of the analytics market, customer needs and competitive landscape.
-
Product adoption:
Partner across Marketing, Product and Customer teams to improve how customers discover, understand and adopt Matomo's capabilities throughout their lifecycle.
-
Message consistency:
Ensure Matomo's product story is expressed consistently across our website, campaigns, content, launches and sales conversations.

Demonstrated success leading go-to-market initiatives and product launches across Product, Marketing and Sales.
-
Experience building sales enablement that improves the quality of customer conversations and supports measurable commercial outcomes.

The ability to understand complex or technical products and translate them into simple, credible and compelling customer value.
-
A customer-centric and data-informed approach.
-
Strong written and spoken English.
-
A strong record of taking ownership, exercising sound judgement and delivering measurable outcomes.
