[Hiring] Principal Technical SEO Specialist @Legend

Role Description

Legend is hiring a Principal Technical SEO, reporting directly to our Chief Gaming Officer. This is a rare opportunity to take portfolio-wide responsibility for the technical SEO performance of some of the largest and most commercially important domains in iGaming. Working alongside our existing Principal Technical SEO, you will co-own technical SEO across our Gaming portfolio, while also supporting our Sports portfolio.

• Identify the technical opportunities and risks that matter most.
• Turn opportunities and risks into clear priorities.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to deliver measurable organic and commercial impact.
• Solve complex challenges across crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, internationalisation, migrations, and performance.
• Set standards that scale across our portfolio.
• Advance how we use AI and automation across SEO.
• Build tools, monitoring, diagnostics, and automated workflows to improve decision-making.
• Lead through expertise rather than formal authority.

Requirements

• Strong track record of leading complex technical SEO initiatives across large websites or multi-domain portfolios.
• Expert knowledge across crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, canonicalisation, international SEO, migrations, structured data, JavaScript SEO, log-file analysis, and web performance.
• Comfortable writing code and independently building tools, diagnostics, monitoring, or automated workflows using APIs and large datasets.
• Able to translate complex technical findings into priorities based on expected value, risk, effort, confidence, and opportunity cost.
• Experienced in influencing Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Intellectually curious, technically self-sufficient, and comfortable remaining deeply hands-on.
