Role Description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

The Marketing Project Manager will serve as the operational bridge between executive strategy and daily marketing execution. This role will take high-level objectives from leadership and translate them into structured plans, coordinating internal content writers and freelance designers to ensure organic content is delivered on time and aligned with the brand’s image.

The Marketing Project Manager will focus on operational excellence, lead generation, and brand awareness while managing content operations, organic social media, field marketing initiatives, and industry award submissions. This role requires strong business acumen and an understanding of the strategic goals behind the work, rather than simply managing tasks and tickets.

Location: Fully Remote | 40 hours/week | 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Central European Time

Key Responsibilities

• Content Operations & SEO Alignment
  • Manage the editorial calendar across owned, shared, and PR content.
  • Ensure content deliverables align with the established SEO strategy.
  • Draft clear briefs and topics for the internal content writing team.
  • Hold content writers accountable to publication deadlines.
  • Coordinate organic content execution to support brand awareness and broader marketing objectives.
  • Manage organic social media activities with the goal of driving awareness.
• Asset & Project Management
  • Translate leadership’s annual objectives into structured, actionable project plans.
  • Coordinate internal content writers and freelance designers across marketing initiatives.
  • Leverage freelance graphic designers using existing brand templates.
  • Ensure the paid media team receives all necessary creative assets on schedule.
  • Manage multiple timelines, templates, deliverables, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Field Marketing & Lead Generation
  • Research, evaluate, and select high-value B2B industry events that support agency expansion and the referral pipeline.
  • Manage overarching logistics surrounding selected industry events.
  • Coordinate social media promotion around events to maximize brand awareness.
  • Ensure field marketing initiatives support lead-generation and expansion objectives.
• Award Submissions & Executive Coordination
  • Identify relevant industry awards.
  • Map submission requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate the award submission process.
  • Work directly with executive leadership to ensure necessary submission materials are drafted and finalized on time.
  • Keep leadership accountable to deadlines throughout the submission process.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a generalist B2B marketing role.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional pipelines involving writers, designers, and digital media teams.
• Experience aligning day-to-day content creation with broader SEO and lead-generation strategies.
• Demonstrated experience researching and organizing field marketing initiatives, events, or sponsorships.
• Experience within a PR, communications, or service-based agency is a plus.
• Familiarity with the B2B landscape and industry events in the US and/or EU is a plus.
• Experience managing organic social media channels for B2B brands is a plus.

• European Expansion Impact: Place the agency at relevant US and EU industry events to support regional awareness and referral generation.
• Award Pipeline: Maintain a consistent industry award submission process by keeping executive leadership on track and ahead of deadlines.
