Role Description
You are the person who turns the marketing plan into shipped work. You take ownership of delivery across a defined portfolio of programmes, events, and platform launches, from brief to go-live to post-event wrap, coordinating design, comms, web, and social so nothing slips, and no one is overloaded. You are equal parts project manager, producer, and operator.
What you will own
-
End-to-end delivery of an assigned portfolio of programmes, events, and platform launches, from brief through launch to post-event close-out.
-
Turning the annual marketing calendar into sequenced, resourced execution plans, managing timelines, dependencies, and handoffs across functions.
-
Smoothing peak months by planning and batching work ahead, so report and event clusters do not overwhelm the team.
-
Running point on flagship events (such as Bangalore Climate Data Week, COP, and Climate Dunya): logistics, on-ground marketing, partner and speaker coordination, and live activation.
-
Driving platform and product launches, coordinating landing pages, go-live campaigns, and promotion with web and design.
-
Managing freelancers, vendors, and agency partners (including PR) against scope, budget, and timeline.
-
Owning the marketing tracker (ClickUp or other) as the single source of truth on status, ownership, and capacity.
-
Surfacing capacity risks early and proposing what to move, batch, or resource.
-
Support any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.
What success looks like
-
First 6 months: You own delivery of your portfolio, the calendar is sequenced and peak-month load is actively managed, and nothing flagship slips.
-
First 12 months: Execution runs as a repeatable system, leadership is freed from day-to-day delivery to focus on strategy, and the team's busiest months are measurably smoother.
Qualifications
-
4 to 7 years in marketing delivery, campaign or event production, or marketing project management, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
-
A proven track record running several concurrent projects to deadline without dropping details.
-
Strong operator and coordinator, fluent in project tools (ClickUp, Asana, or similar).
-
Hands-on event execution experience, including live, on-ground delivery.
-
Excellent cross-functional communication, comfortable holding designers, writers, and partners to a shared plan.
-
Calm with ambiguity and energised by building systems where none exist yet.
Nice to have
-
Interest or experience in climate, sustainability, startups, or nonprofit and ecosystem work.
-
Experience launching digital platforms or products.
