Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead and oversee the firm's marketing function. This role combines strategy, execution, and people management.

You will oversee a marketing team of three (3), with potential growth to four (4) team members, while remaining hands-on with planning, quality control, performance analysis, and continuous optimization.

This role requires a strong understanding of law firm marketing, particularly in a regulated, high-stakes practice area such as U.S. immigration law, where accuracy, compliance, tone, and credibility are critical.
Key Responsibilities

Setting direction, managing people, and ensuring consistent execution across all marketing channels.

Overseeing the firm's website, digital campaigns, content systems, and brand presence.

Guiding the team to convert complex immigration law concepts into clear, client-centered messaging.

Supervising and mentoring a marketing team; assigning priorities; reviewing work for quality, compliance, and effectiveness; ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met.

Leading the firm's website strategy, including structure, UX, landing pages, and conversion optimization.

Ensuring all content aligns with legal accuracy and business goals.

Overseeing content creation across video, social media, email, and web platforms.

Managing and optimizing paid marketing efforts, including Google Ads and landing pages.

Directing SEO and GEO strategy and execution, including keyword priorities, content planning, and performance tracking.

Analyzing marketing data across channels, monitoring KPIs, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and presenting actionable recommendations to firm leadership.

Implementing systems, workflows, and tools (such as Monday.com and AI-assisted workflows) to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

Working closely with firm leadership to align marketing strategy with business objectives, intake capacity, and growth plans.
Qualifications

5+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in law firms, professional services, or agency environments.

Proven experience leading and managing a marketing team or function, including delegation, performance oversight, and mentoring.

Strong expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), content strategy, social media, email campaigns, and analytics.

Proficiency with Webflow is required, including website management, page updates, CMS content, and basic conversion optimization.

Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategy and execute end-to-end campaigns, from planning through performance analysis.

Experience managing budgets, timelines, priorities, and team performance in a results-driven environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to review, train, and mentor staff.

Data-driven and analytical mindset, with experience using marketing metrics and KPIs to guide decisions.

Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote, high-accountability environment.

Prior experience in law firm marketing or regulated professional services is a strong plus.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; advanced certifications are a plus.

Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.
