[Hiring] Marketing Coordinator, Content & Digital Platforms @Specialty Coffee Association

Role Description

SCA is seeking a Contract Marketing Coordinator, Content & Digital Platforms – Korea to lead local content generation and digital platform growth in one of specialty coffee's most dynamic markets. This role reports to the Managing Director, Korea, while roughly 75–80% of day-to-day work is directed by the Director of Digital Production, based in California.

The role owns two connected areas of work:

• Localizing or creating content for the Korean market from SCA's global marketing team.
• Building out SCA's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn presence specifically for Korean audiences.

This is a hands-on, content-focused role. You'll take global campaigns and brand assets and turn them into content that performs for a Korean audience — translated, adapted, or built from scratch.

Close and proactive communication among the coordinator, the Managing Director, Korea, and the Director of Digital Production is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
• Professional fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Fluency in Korean, written and spoken.
• Based in Korea, with the ability to support local events as needed.
• Hands-on experience creating and publishing content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Comfort with content creation and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Korean social media platform conventions, trends, and audience behavior.
• Excellent written localization skills, translating and adapting content between Korean and English.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple concurrent content projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• Experience in the coffee industry, hospitality, or specialty food and beverage sector (preferred).
• A videography or photography portfolio demonstrating platform-native content work (preferred).
• Experience supporting local events, trade shows, or education program marketing (preferred).
• Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., SquareSpace or similar) (preferred).
