[Hiring] Head of Marketing @FrontierU

Role Description

As the Head of Marketing at FrontierU, your immediate mission is to build qualified demand for FrontierU and turn it into applications and enrollments ahead of our first campus launch. Our growth strategy is organic; we will not run paid advertising. You will build through:

• Compelling content
• Launch campaigns
• Community relationships
• Campus outreach
• Partnerships
• Events
• Referrals

You’ll have a budget for production, freelancers, tools, and outreach. You’ll decide what to do yourself, what to commission, and where to focus our resources.

Before launch, you’ll help tell the story of what we’re building and why it matters. After launch, you’ll draw on the people, projects, learning, and daily life inside FrontierU. As the workload grows, you’ll help decide which capabilities to bring in-house and hire the right people.

What you’ll own

• Positioning and messaging: Understand prospective members and work with the founder to explain what FrontierU offers.
• Organic launches and campaigns: Develop campaign ideas that people want to watch, discuss, share, and participate in.
• Content and creative direction: Build a focused editorial approach and sustainable publishing rhythm.
• Hands-on execution: Write copy, develop scripts, produce content, and measure results.
• Distribution and relationships: Build relationships with student communities and organize outreach and events.
• Applications and conversion: Improve the journey from discovery to qualified application.
• Freelancers and specialist partners: Find collaborators, manage budgets, and commission specialist work.
• Measurement and the future team: Track interest, applications, and conversion to improve our approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in building successful organic launches.
• Ability to conceive and execute campaigns that achieve substantial organic reach.
• Strong creative judgment combined with commercial discipline.
• Hands-on builder with practical strengths in writing and content production.
• Experience in selecting and managing freelancers or collaborators.
• Quick learner who takes ownership and adapts based on evidence.

Requirements

• Fluent English is required; Italian is not.
• Ability to work remotely in a full-time capacity.

Benefits

• €75,000 annual base salary.
• €30,000 target annual equity grant.
