Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to drive our brand's growth and engagement. You will lead marketing initiatives, build brand, craft compelling campaigns, and drive user acquisition and manage external agency relationships. Your expertise in blockchain and gaming will be pivotal in positioning our products to resonate with audiences in the blockchain space.
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to raise brand awareness, overall growth and user acquisition.
- Create and execute branding, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for new products and features.
- Define and strengthen the brand's identity, ensuring consistent messaging and a unique value proposition in the blockchain gaming space.
- Drive brand growth through strategic campaigns, innovative partnerships, and engaging community-building initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and BizDev teams to create cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Plan and execute Web3 campaigns and launches.
- Build, manage and nurture a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity and data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage partnerships, events, and influencer marketing to amplify reach within the blockchain and gaming spaces.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns to meet KPIs and ROI goals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing in the Web3 space.
- Experience in launching a layer 1 blockchain, and managing full cycle.
- Good knowledge of the blockchain industry and crypto community.
- Ability to craft and execute short-term and long-term strategies that are aligned with business goals.
- Proven experience in building and scaling brands, with a strong focus on positioning and growth in competitive markets.
- Expertise in crafting and executing brand strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and long-term audience loyalty.
- Ability to design and execute growth activities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and collaborate across departments.
Requirements
- Experience in gaming.
Role Location
The role is remote, but strong preference for Europe or Asia.
Reporting Lines
This role will report to the Director.
Compensation
$175k + starting bonus
