Role Description
This is a founding role for the growth function. No playbook exists yet β you will write it. With 2.1M+ users already in the top of the funnel, the conversion and organic infrastructure is materially underdeveloped. SEO, ASO, and full-funnel optimisation have been deferred until the right person arrived. You will own organic acquisition and conversion end-to-end: from search ranking to paywall, from App Store visibility to Day-14 email. You will work directly with the COO and alongside a dedicated Growth Full-Stack Developer. Your work will show up in MRR within months, not years.

Organic Acquisition

Technical SEO, keyword architecture, content strategy, link-building β own rankings for high-intent trader search terms globally

ASO for iOS and Android β drive downloads and store ranking for the GoCharting mobile app

Organic channel infrastructure: analytics, tooling, reporting cadence

Funnel & Conversion
-
Own the full funnel: Visit β Signup β Onboard β Active β Trial β Paid β Retained

Freemium-to-paid conversion: paywall design, pricing page optimisation, onboarding flow improvements

Email nurture sequences (onboarding, trial expiry, win-back) in Intercom

Experimentation & Analytics
-
A/B and multivariate testing across website, onboarding flows, and paywall β hypothesis-driven with clear success metrics

GA4 full-funnel instrumentation and Looker Studio dashboards for traffic, conversions, cohort retention

Define and report CAC/LTV efficiency β the language the business runs on

Website & Marketing Tech

Landing page CRO, page speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data β treat the website as a conversion product
-
Own the marketing stack: GTM, GA4, Intercom, marketing-automation tooling (to be selected)

Collaborate with the Growth Full-Stack Developer on subscription and paywall features
Qualifications

8+ years in growth or performance marketing at a B2C SaaS or fintech product
-
Demonstrated SEO results at scale β measurable organic traffic growth you can speak to with numbers

ASO track record on iOS App Store and Google Play

Strong CRO chops: A/B testing, funnel analysis, UX intuition β you read a drop-off chart and know what to test first

Technical: GA4, GTM, comfortable writing SQL queries, able to self-serve your own data

Freemium or subscription business experience β you think natively in CAC/LTV and payback periods

Hands-on executor: no agency layer, no coordinator layer β you do the work and you own the outcome
