Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Growth Strategist with at least 3 years of experience , managing at least $1M per month in ad spend to join our team. Today, the role of a Senior Media Buyer has evolved into a Growth Strategist - it’s no longer enough to work inside ad accounts. Effective marketing requires:

  • Critical thinking
  • Conducting deep research
  • Translating insights into ideas
  • Implementing those ideas

As a Growth Strategist at Maneuver, you will lead a product marketing team comprising:

  • Copywriter
  • Creative strategist
  • Designer
  • Media buyer

You’ll grow 2 flagship products and collaborate with cross-functional teams essential to grow a product to $100M+ a year profitably.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Growth Planning & Opportunity Discovery
    • Own the development and iteration of Meta-led growth strategies.
    • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities through structured root-cause analysis.
    • Uncover under-tapped or untapped opportunities by reverse-engineering winning DTC products.
    • Analyze product performance and map learnings to Maneuver’s products.
    • Prioritize high-leverage initiatives balancing short-term profitability with long-term breakthroughs.
    • Act with urgency to gather new signals and adapt strategy in-market.
    • Focus team energy on the highest-ROI initiatives.
  • Deep Market & Customer Research
    • Lead a continuous discovery process to inform positioning and media execution.
    • Conduct social listening across various platforms to surface consumer insights.
    • Dive into product-level inputs to sharpen value propositions.
    • Run deep competitive audits to identify messaging gaps.
    • Triangulate insights into clear strategic actions.
  • Media Strategy
    • Design and manage high-performance Meta ad systems.
    • Architect account structures for clean data capture.
    • Execute and evolve bid strategies based on business context.
    • Build creative testing matrices and scale frameworks.
    • Ensure media execution aligns with strategic hypotheses.
  • Creative Strategy & Messaging Architecture
    • Provide a bird’s eye view of the creative ecosystem.
    • Co-own the high-level creative roadmap.
    • Map current messaging by awareness level and sophistication.
    • Assess congruence of ads, offers, and funnels with messaging strategy.
    • Refine angles and creative direction based on performance signals.
  • Funnel Strategy, CRO & Project Ownership
    • Own funnel strategy and end-to-end project execution.
    • Identify funnel bottlenecks and CRO opportunities.
    • Define changes needed and translate into clear briefs.
    • Collaborate with tech team for implementation.
    • Ensure tight feedback loops post-launch.
  • Collaboration
    • Act as the connective tissue between strategy, media, creative, and partners.
    • Provide strategic and CRO briefs aligned on performance goals.
    • Partner closely with creative teams for execution.
    • Collaborate with media buyers on test design and optimization.
    • Build a high-ownership culture with clear accountability.
  • Data Fluency & Performance Optimization
    • Design and interpret measurement frameworks.
    • Read metric pairs to isolate constraints.
    • Run regular performance cadences and document learnings.
    • Track key metrics and make ROI-based calls in real time.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 to 7 years of relevant experience working with DTC brands as a media buyer / Growth Strategist.
  • Strong “builder” desire with a mission-driven culture.
  • Strong analytical skills to work with data and analyze metrics.
  • Persuasion skills with experience in direct response copywriting.
  • Strong media buying skills managing ad budgets profitably.
  • Strong project management skills to identify outcomes and implement initiatives.
  • Strong project coordination skills to work with multiple partners.
  • Resourcefulness, organization, independence, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interest in creative performance and testing.

Work Arrangement

  • This is a full-time position with a remote work arrangement.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm SGT (GMT+8).
  • Coordinate with the team for at least 3 overlap hours a day in the SGT timezone.
  • Preferably time zones are between GMT and GMT+2.
