[Hiring] Growth Marketing Specialist @Northride New Zealand Limited

Role Description

We're looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Specialist to join our Auckland team and help build the Northride brand locally through HubSpot driven marketing, campaigns, events, partnerships, content creation, and digital lead generation.

This is a broad startup role where no two days are the same:

• Building landing pages and email workflows in HubSpot
• Helping coordinate an employer event
• Creating social media content
• Supporting a bike shop activation
• Launching a lead generation campaign

HubSpot will sit at the centre of much of the role. We are looking for someone comfortable working across:

• CRM systems
• Digital campaigns
• Forms
• Landing pages
• Email marketing
• Lead flows
• Reporting

This role is based in Auckland (our office is in Wynyard Quarter and has bike parking), or elsewhere in New Zealand for the right candidate, and requires the right to work in NZ. Some flexibility in working hours is required, including occasional evening calls and some evening or weekend events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in marketing, digital marketing, CRM marketing, events, communications, or a similar role
• Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms
• Experience building landing pages, email campaigns, forms, or customer workflows
• Familiarity with Google Ads, paid social campaigns, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Experience in a startup, scaleup, small business, or fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for content creation across different formats and audiences
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Comfortable working with campaign data and reporting; numerically confident
• Comfortable with AI and digital tools, quick to pick up new platforms
• Strong customer-first mentality with a genuine focus on customer experience, communication, and engagement
• A practical, hands-on attitude with willingness to help across different areas of the business
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand market and local customer expectations
• Right to work in New Zealand

Requirements

• Experience with digital lead generation campaigns and reporting
• Experience with Canva, social media scheduling tools, or email automation platforms
• Experience using AI tools to support content creation, campaign execution, research, reporting, or workflow automation
• Curiosity and openness to learning and experimenting with new technologies and AI-driven tools
• Interest in sustainability, active transport, cycling, or workplace wellbeing initiatives
