Role Description
You own growth at Forest. Not “growth marketing.” Growth. Pipeline, community, distribution, presence.
You work with the CRO, the Head of Marketing (content & websites), the GTM Lead (pipeline coordination), and senior freelancers. The Head of Marketing produces long-form content. You distribute it, create native social content, build communities, and generate leads.

MCP & Skills distribution (30%)

Distribute Forest’s MCP Server and Skills across 15+ channels: Anthropic Connectors, mcp.so, Smithery, Claude Desktop, npm, GitHub.

Design the PLG flywheel: developer discovers a Skill, uses it standalone, Skill references Forest, signs up for a free plan, agent runs workflows, hits limits, upgrades to paid.

Prototype new Skills, test distribution channels, and measure what converts.

Act as the bridge between product and market on everything agentic.

Lead generation & pipeline contribution (25%)

Generate 50+ MQLs/month from community, content, social, and MCP distribution combined.

Build attribution tracking: which channel generates which lead, which lead converts.

Create lead magnets (reports, benchmarks, interactive tools, compliance templates).

Coordinate with the GTM Lead on MQL to SQL conversion.

Run nurturing campaigns via Customer.io on inbound leads.

Target: 40% of total pipeline attributable to Growth within 12 months.

Twitter/X & social presence (20%)

Launch and grow Forest’s presence on Twitter/X with daily engagement.

Build the CRO’s personal brand on Twitter/LinkedIn: ghostwriting, threads, strategic engagement.

Create native content (hot takes, market reactions, short demos, memes, compliance commentary).

Engage actively with the fintech/compliance/AI ecosystem across social channels.

Target: Forest visible on Twitter/X within 30 days. 5K+ followers in 6 months.

Community building, “AI Regulated Ops” (15%)

Create and grow the “AI Regulated Ops” community on Slack or Discord.

Seed it with clients (Qonto, Swan, Melio), partners (Sardine, Chainalysis), and compliance influencers.

Organize a monthly webinar/live demo with clients and partners.
-
Target: 500 members in 90 days, 20% qualified prospects.

Product Hunt, HackerNews, Reddit & LLM referencing (10%)

Plan and execute the Product Hunt re-launch with the new positioning.

Organic Reddit presence: r/compliance, r/fintech, r/RegTech.

HackerNews campaigns for key launches (Forest Agent, MCP connectors, Skills).
-
LLM referencing: Forest should appear when a CTO asks Claude “compliance ops platform.”

Make that happen through G2, Capterra, Crunchbase, comparison pages.

Target: Product Hunt Top 5. Forest referenced in LLMs within 90 days.
