Role Description
We're hiring one person to own user growth and revenue at FaithOnline. Your immediate mandate is growth:
-
Build and execute the engine that drives app installs, new users, and scalable distribution.
-
Identify, test, and scale channels, campaigns, and partnerships for organic growth.
-
Develop partnerships, monetization infrastructure, pipeline, and commercial opportunities for sustainable revenue.
-
Full-cycle work: build your own pipeline, pitch and close partners, test acquisition channels, measure success, and create repeatable systems.
We're looking for a growth and revenue leader who is also a strategist, executor, and system builder, working directly with our founder.
What You'll Own
-
User Growth + Acquisition:
Own the strategy and execution for driving app installs and new-user growth, working alongside our marketing team.
-
Growth + Distribution Partnerships:
Source, negotiate, and close relationships with churches, ministries, organizations, businesses, and other partners.
-
Growth Funnel + Analytics:
Own the numbers behind acquisition, establish clear KPIs, build reporting, run experiments, and turn data into action.
-
Retention:
Own retention, run re-engagement and referral efforts, and collaborate with the product team.
-
Sponsorship + Advertising Sales:
Build your own pipeline, pitch, negotiate, and close revenue opportunities.
-
FaithOnline Koinonia:
Build and run our in-house monetization unit, managing money surfaces inside the app.
-
Commercial Partnerships:
Develop and close business agreements, licensing opportunities, sponsorships, and other partnerships.
-
Pricing + Packaging:
Help build our commercial offerings and pricing, taking it to market.
-
Creator Monetization:
Design and implement the program that pays our Voices, including eligibility, revenue share, payouts, and policy.
-
Pipeline + Forecast:
Own your pipeline and forecast from first outreach through close and renewal.
Qualifications
-
Experience growing a consumer product or platform.
-
Proven track record of carrying and hitting a revenue number.
-
Experience building or running product or creator monetization.
-
Ability to drive measurable user growth with specific actions and results.
-
Experience selling before proof existed, particularly in early-stage companies.
-
Ability to source your own opportunities for user acquisition or commercial partnerships.
-
Quick transition from strategy to execution, with a focus on testing and measuring.
-
Comfortable building from zero without an established growth machine.
-
Alignment with an evangelical Christian worldview.
Not a Fit If
-
You answer a growth question with a methodology instead of an experiment.
-
You answer a deal question with a strategy deck instead of a pipeline.
-
You need a proven audience before you can sell.
-
You rely primarily on paid acquisition instead of building sustainable distribution.
-
This is a builder role, not an advisory role.
The Engagement
This starts as an independent contractor role for an initial ninety days, scoped to deliverables rather than hours, with a conversion decision at the end of the term. Compensation is discussed during the interview process.
