Role Description
The Fit4Less Social Media & Content Specialist is responsible for strategizing, planning and creating engaging and on-brand content that resonates with current and potential Members. As a skilled storyteller, this person is passionate about multi-media content creation and finding new ways to build brand awareness, brand loyalty/retention and increase sales.

Creates and/or edits original content for a wide variety of channels including paid and organic social media (TikTok, Meta, YouTube etc.), videos, product/add-on collateral, video scripts, etc., to be on-brand.

Creates and edits in-house media content.

Researches and monitors current trends so content and best practices are up-to-date and relevant.

Assists departments with necessary video content creation.

Develops and executes a multi-channel content strategy to support business goals and strategic objectives.

Takes a data-driven approach to content creation with the βtest and learnβ mentality and report monthly on findings.

Analyzes, procures, writes, edits, distributes, manages, updates and monitors dynamic, user-generated and custom content to support overall corporate goals and initiatives.

Builds and manages relationships with Influencers and external vendors associated with content creation.

Negotiates Influencer and Content Creator contracts and manages deliverables.

Engages in both proactive and reactive social media and brand reputation management.

Assists other Marketing Team members with execution of social media contests.

Assists the Operations Team with social media customer service inquiries when required.
Qualifications

College degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations.

2 years work experience.

Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Advanced knowledge of social media and content strategy.

Advanced proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.

Intermediate creative thinking ability.

Intermediate ability to understand data and adjust content strategy based on analytics.

Intermediate knowledge of Work Operating Systems (e.g., monday.com), Canva, HubSpot, Meta Business Suite and/or similar.

Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro or similar video editing software.
Requirements

It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $56,000.

This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary.

The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $56,000 - $72,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
