Role Description

The Email Proof Review Assistant is responsible for comparing a test message with the supplied source, spotting missing links or obvious formatting issues, and recording findings for the campaign owner. This role involves:

• Reviewing the proof, not an old draft.
• Checking the subject, visible text, links, and important numbers against the source provided.
• Identifying discrepancies without rewriting sentences.
• Ensuring the proof represents the correct audience segment.
• Keeping status attached to the version examined.
• Providing a clean exception note detailing findings.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, office administration, proofreading, or careful online communication.
• Ability to compare text precisely and report errors without changing approved content.

Requirements

• Ability to inspect subject and preview text against the approved brief.
• Check dates, amounts, names, and links in the visible email.
• Inspect images and layout in designated test views.
• Verify required footer elements supplied by the campaign owner.
• Assess whether the test is for the correct audience segment.
• Document corrections made after an earlier review.
• Maintain a record of the final status and remaining issues in the online tracker.
