Role Description
The Email Production Specialist serves a vital role within the marketing team by coordinating and executing email campaigns on behalf of the MSB public media organizations we support. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to launch their marketing careers and develop expertise managing impactful email marketing campaigns at scale with cutting edge tools.
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate the production and implementation of MSB station e-solicitations program.

Support the onboarding of new MSB cooperative stations with our email platform.

Align the Creative Team’s copy and artwork deadlines with the email solicitation calendar.

Confirm that all assets needed to support email solicitation are delivered on time.

Organize marketing assets in appropriate file directories and platforms.

Monitor email delivery success metrics.

Help triage and communicate issues affecting email solicitation delivery.

Ensure emails are proofed and approved by MSB stations.

Within the Iterable platform, set-up appropriate email audience for each e-solicitation.

Manage email send scheduling.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail, grammar and clarity.

Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (email, web, CRM).

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Comfort with learning new software platforms and ability to apply training quickly.

Collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Iterable or similar email platform.

Familiarity with public media marketing (previous experience with or at a public media organization is a plus).

Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.

Experience with file sharing directory platforms.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Recent grads encouraged to apply.
