[Hiring] Email Marketing Specialist @Ekwa Marketing

This is not a routine execution role. This is a build-from-scratch role where you will audit, fix, and improve our email setup end-to-end. If you enjoy ownership and building systems that last, this role is a strong fit.


Job Responsibilities:

• Audit all existing email accounts, domains, and sending practices
• Fix deliverability issues and improve inbox placement
• Set up clear rules, access control, and email ownership
• Create and manage email workflows for internal and external use
• Monitor spam rates, bounce rates, and sender reputation
• Build recovery plans for damaged domains or accounts
• Set up clear reporting with weekly and monthly improvements
• Introduce structure to email requests using a ticket-based system
• Decide what email work is required vs not required
• Take full ownership of email performance and stability
• Plan and execute email list growth using ethical and permission-based methods
• Maintain list quality by reducing unsubscribes, spam complaints, and inactive contacts

Expected Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong experience in email marketing and deliverability
• Hands on knowledge of Gmail, Google Workspace, and email security
• Experience with SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm up, and reputation control
• Ability to audit systems and create clear action plans
• Comfortable working independently with full ownership
• Clear communication and decision making skills
• Experience working with leadership teams

Important notes about this role

• This is a new function, not a support role
• You will be expected to lead and build this area independently
• Success will be measured through weekly and monthly KPI monitoring

Preferred

• Multi-brand / multi-domain email program experience.
• Familiarity with deliverability monitoring platforms and Postmaster tools.
• Experience with event-driven email journeys (reminders, confirmations, attendance-based follow-ups).
• Basic HTML email and rendering knowledge.

Work Hours & Expectations:

• Since BizyCorp serves International Clients, the role requires flexibility within a specific time frame.
• Work Schedule Commitment: Since we are 100% virtual, we can create a flexible work schedule for 5 hours during the day and 3 hours at night.
• Note: Working 8 hours a day is a must. (The schedule is to be decided based on the requirements of the role and the company policies)
• You must work additional hours based on requirements (if needed only).
• This schedule may require adjusting your daily routine, so consider your comfort with late-night work.
