Role Description

As an Email Marketing Manager at our agency, you will fully own email marketing for a portfolio of DTC brands. You are responsible for strategy, execution, and performance across campaigns, flows, and pop-ups. You will manage your team (designer, brand copywriter, and Klaviyo technician) and ensure all deliverables are completed on time, on-brand, and error-free. Your role is to bring strategy and direction to the team, maintain high standards, and ensure every email sent on behalf of the client meets those standards. You will also be the main point of contact for your clients, owning communication, performance, and overall account success. This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail, responsiveness, and consistency are critical.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing email marketing for eCommerce/DTC brands
• Fluent in German and English
• Deep expertise in email and SMS marketing for eCommerce
• Experience working for a brand or an email marketing agency
• Highly proficient in Klaviyo with a deep understanding of flows and campaigns
• Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, spacing, and modern design
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Responsive, reliable, and clear communicator with your team
• Ability to manage your team (designer and Klaviyo technician) efficiently
• Ability to manage multiple brands and stay organized without reminders
• Strong agency, independent, and proactive; ownership of work without needing reminders
• Ability to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CET with minimal interruptions

Requirements

• Own full email marketing strategy and execution across campaigns, flows, and pop-ups
• Create and manage monthly campaign calendars for each client
• Review email copy to ensure clarity, performance, and brand alignment
• Brief designers and review email designs for layout, hierarchy, and conversion
• Manage client communication, approvals, and feedback loops
• Handle revisions quickly (standard within 24 hours)
• Oversee scheduling and QA to ensure all emails are error-free before sending
• Manage your team to ensure deadlines are met across all deliverables
• Maintain clean, organized Figma and Klaviyo environments
• Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports with insights and improvement plans
• Stay active in Slack and respond within 15 to 20 minutes during working hours
