Role Description
The Email Marketing Lead owns the email channel across Capital Bankβs enterprise marketing organization. This role is responsible for planning, building, deploying, and optimizing email campaigns that support marketing initiatives across multiple lines of business.
This is a hands-on role responsible for managing email campaigns from strategy through deployment and performance analysis. The Email Marketing Lead works closely with line-of-business marketing teams to understand campaign goals and then develops the email strategy, builds the campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, schedules and deploys communications, and monitors performance.
This role ensures that email campaigns are executed accurately, delivered on schedule, and continuously improved through data-driven optimization. The Email Marketing Lead also manages the enterprise email calendar and serves as the internal subject matter expert for the email channel. Over time, this role will play an important part in maturing Capital Bankβs lifecycle marketing capabilities as the email program continues to evolve.
Qualifications

6β8+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM marketing, or digital campaign management.

Hands-on experience managing campaigns in enterprise email platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar systems.

Experience executing email campaigns across multiple products or business lines preferred.

Strong understanding of audience segmentation, campaign targeting, and email performance optimization.

Experience analyzing campaign performance and identifying optimization opportunities.

Familiarity with email deliverability standards and consent management practices.

Experience working in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries is preferred.
Requirements

Serve as the enterprise owner of the email marketing channel across Capital Bankβs marketing organization.

Manage email communications that support multiple lines of business including Opensky, mortgage, commercial, and Windsor Advantage.

Maintain the enterprise email campaign calendar to coordinate communications across teams and prevent conflicting sends.

Establish operational standards for email campaign execution, testing, and performance tracking.

Work with line-of-business marketing teams to understand the goals, target audiences, and objectives of marketing initiatives.

Develop the email strategy that supports each campaign or initiative.

Determine segmentation, targeting, send timing, and campaign structure based on available customer data and past campaign performance.

Identify opportunities where email can improve campaign performance or increase customer engagement.

Build and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or an equivalent enterprise email platform.

Configure targeting, audience segmentation, and personalization settings within the platform.

Build automated or triggered email journeys when campaigns require them.

Manage campaign scheduling, quality assurance checks, and final deployment of all email communications.

Maintain the enterprise email send calendar and coordinate campaign timing across multiple teams.

Ensure campaigns are built correctly, including targeting logic, links, tracking parameters, and rendering across devices and inbox providers.

Monitor campaign deployment to confirm successful delivery and proper execution.

Monitor the performance of all email campaigns across the organization.

Analyze engagement and conversion metrics to understand campaign effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to improve performance through segmentation, testing, or campaign structure changes.

Design and execute A/B tests to improve subject lines, messaging structure, send timing, and other campaign variables.

Provide campaign performance reporting and insights to marketing stakeholders.

Serve as the primary operator and subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Manage audience segmentation, list management, and campaign setup within the platform.

Partner with analytics and data teams to ensure accurate audience data and segmentation inputs.

Maintain best practices for deliverability, list hygiene, and email performance monitoring.

Identify opportunities to improve campaign automation and operational efficiency within the platform.
Benefits

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 annually.

Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly target bonus based on individual and company performance.
