Role Description
The Email Marketing Coordinator supports the client’s Business Development and Marketing teams. Primarily responsible for the formatting and distribution via email of the firm's client alerts, news, and event invitations.

Layout, test, and circulate HTML email drafts with Business Development teams, partners, and other stakeholders, making revisions as needed.

Assist in building distribution lists and segmenting contacts in the CRM database based on multiple criteria for targeted mailings.

Send emails primarily using Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights – Journeys (formerly Dynamics 365 Marketing).

Ensure email deployments comply with consent policies based on audience and location, using exclusion segments to adhere to GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email marketing regulations.

Create HTML email templates and periodically update existing templates to support evolving business needs and brand standards.

Configure, test, and deploy email layouts and web response forms to support global Business Development campaign tracking, event registration, and event management.

Produce event and email campaign follow-up reports and metrics for internal stakeholders.

Learn and follow current business processes to ensure email marketing requests are handled in a timely manner and distributed evenly among the team; suggest and help implement process improvements where applicable.

Maintain documentation of evolving email marketing best practices, updating internal guides as new features are released or needed across platforms.

Troubleshoot bugs, broken links, formatting issues, and other technical problems as they arise.

Perform other responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Minimum of three years of experience in a professional services organization required; 3–5 years preferred. Law firm and pitch/proposal experience are a plus.

Hands-on experience with email marketing automation platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights – Journeys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Pardot, Stripo (integrated), Constant Contact, or similar tools.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and OneNote.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot CRM, Monday.com, or similar tools.

Intermediate HTML knowledge required, including familiarity with tables, inline CSS styling, and email structure/tags.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients by being responsive, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work based on their needs.
Requirements

The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $27 to $28 / hour.

Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time.

Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
