Role Description
We are hiring a Director of Marketing, reporting directly to the VP, Go-To-Market, to execute Unisonโs marketing strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Driving demand generation, lead generation, and customer acquisition

Overseeing content development and execution

Continuing our Public Relations engagements

Being the focal point for all market-facing memberships, events, and conferences
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Unisonโs corporate marketing strategy across our US Government, US GovCon, and international footprint.

Owning the end-to-end marketing strategy and ensuring alignment with sales, product, and delivery to drive pipeline and ARR growth

Leading the marketing team as a direct counterpart to the Director of Sales and Account Management, jointly shaping Unisonโs go-to-market strategy and priorities

Developing and executing a lead generation plan, including Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) targets, with input from GTM and Delivery leaders

Building a strategy and executing a plan for the creation and execution of cohesive marketing campaigns, content, and initiatives across a variety of channels, including email, social media, content marketing, conferences, and events

Creating opportunities for thought leadership and executive influence across the market

Managing and optimizing the company's marketing budget and resources, including the development of ROI-driven plans and programs

Managing and developing a high-performing marketing team, including hiring, training, and career development

Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications

A strong track record of building and executing successful marketing strategies in the enterprise SaaS space, preferably within the US Government market

At least 7 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role

Strong analytical and problem solving ability, with experience managing budgets, measuring impact, and optimizing programs

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams in the execution of strategy and the ability to communicate clearly and credibly with sales teams, executive leadership, and senior external stakeholders

Generalist Marketing background, with a working knowledge of content creation and distribution as well as experience with lead generation, lead nurturing, and marketing automation

Located in DC-Metro in order to meet colleagues in person is strongly preferred

Compensation

Base Salary: $180,000 - $250,000

Final compensation will depend on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications
In-Person Interview

Our hiring process requires one in-person meeting, typically the final interview. Travel and accommodations will be provided
Remote Work

Though predominantly remote, infrequent office visits will be required at least annually. All travel costs for these visits will be covered by Unison
