Role Description
We’re looking for a high-calibre, agency-experienced performance strategist to lead the strategy, optimisation, and delivery of digital campaigns for multiple clients.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing (Australia) and oversee both strategy and execution — from shaping client roadmaps to mentoring our growing PH-based team. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who loves data, thrives in performance-driven environments, and isn’t afraid to experiment, innovate, and push results further.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Strategic Leadership: Architect and implement data-led performance strategies tailored to each client’s business objectives.
-
Cross-Channel Expertise: Manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Programmatic, and emerging platforms like YouTube, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, Spotify, and Podcasts.
-
Client Partnership: Present campaign performance, insights, and optimisation recommendations directly to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
-
Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Creative, SEO, and Web teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution across the marketing funnel.
-
Budget Management: Handle significant monthly ad spends, ensuring accurate pacing, forecasting, and delivering measurable ROI.
-
Innovation & AI Integration: Champion new tools, platform discoveries, and AI-driven optimisation to enhance campaign delivery and agency processes.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a digital or full-service agency environment (non-negotiable).
-
Strong technical command of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4.
-
Certifications: GAIQ (GA4), Google Ads Search, and Meta Certified Media Buying Professional (or equivalent).
-
Deep analytical skills — able to translate complex campaign data into actionable business insights.
-
Excellent client communication skills — confident in explaining strategy, defending decisions, and leading conversations with senior stakeholders.
-
Proven track record managing high-value media budgets and scaling campaigns across diverse industries (e-commerce, B2B, finance, etc.).
-
Experience or interest in mentoring and managing a distributed (AUS + PH) performance team.
Requirements
-
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
-
To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:
-
Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
-
Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”).
Benefits
-
Compensation range: $3,000 - $4,500 AUD/month.
-
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM AU time, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
