[Hiring] Digital Media Planner @Wpromote

Role Description

We're looking for a Digital Media Planner (Direct IO - B2B) to own publisher direct and partner media for one of Wpromote's largest B2B accounts: a leading financial software company whose products span mid-market ERP, advanced small business accounting, and marketing automation. You'll sit within our B2B team, surrounded by a full account team of strategists, channel leads, analysts, and coordinators, and you'll be the person who makes sure the client has the right media partnerships to hit their goals.

This is a role for someone who likes the partner side of media:

• Building relationships with publishers and vendors
• Running RFPs
• Negotiating
• Holding partners to the same performance standard as any self-serve platform

Budgets are sizable and move often, so you'll need to be comfortable with change and clear-headed about where the dollars should go.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in media planning for publisher direct and/or programmatic media, in an agency or in-house environment
• Experience managing vendor and publisher relationships, including RFPs, negotiation, and ongoing performance conversations
• Experience developing, optimizing, analyzing, and reporting on paid campaigns across a variety of KPIs
• Experience with trafficking programmatic or direct media
• Experience working with analytics teams on granular program tracking and performance dashboards
• Experience managing sizable budgets that shift frequently
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and respond to situations quickly
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience

Requirements

• Planning direct partner media for always-on, seasonal, and ad hoc campaigns, including RFPing and evaluating partners against campaign goals
• Managing day-to-day partner relationships: plan feedback, creative and spec requirements, tagging and reporting needs
• Communicating program updates, performance, and recommendations to the client
• Leading the push for better partner measurement
• Contributing to performance reporting and insights
• Working with Coordinators and Ad Ops on trafficking
• Coordinating creative between media partners and the client team
• Proactively bringing the client new partners, formats, and opportunities worth testing
• Staying current on the B2B publisher and partner landscape

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 - $80,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate.

This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions.
