[Hiring] Digital Marketing Intern @Ascension Publishing Group

Role Description

The Digital Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the creation and promotion of digital content produced by the team behind The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year podcasts. This intern will work closely with producers and marketers to help prepare, package, publish, and promote content across Ascension’s digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is an organized, eager learner who is interested in digital media production and content marketing. They enjoy collaborating with others, understand that different platforms require different approaches, and are excited to help bring meaningful content to life for a wide audience. Familiarity with the Catholic faith, strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and good time management skills are important for success in this role.

• Support the preparation and publishing of digital content across Ascension’s platforms, including podcasts, websites, email, and social media
• Assist marketers and producers in packaging content for different platforms, ensuring messaging and formatting are optimized for each channel
• Help coordinate content launches by tracking timelines, assets, and deliverables
• Draft and proofread basic marketing copy, such as descriptions, show notes, social captions, and email content
• Upload and organize content within content management systems and marketing tools
• Perform quality checks to ensure content is accurate, properly formatted, and published on schedule
• Collaborate with marketing team members to execute campaigns for podcasts and videos
• Assist with audience engagement efforts, such as monitoring comments, feedback, or performance metrics
• Support day-to-day administrative tasks related to content production and marketing workflows
• Learn and apply best practices for digital marketing, content distribution, and platform-specific strategies

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions
