[Hiring] Digital Experimentation Strategist @ALSAC

Role Description

As a Digital Experimentation Strategist, you will serve as the organization's subject matter expert for digital experimentation and decision science. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end experimentation process, including:

• Identifying and sizing opportunities
• Helping teams define key decisions
• Selecting success metrics and testing methodologies
• Translating results into actionable recommendations and future testing roadmaps

You will oversee the design, execution, and analysis of digital experiments aimed at optimizing donor and supporter engagement and conversion across digital channels and platforms. Additionally, you will establish and lead the governance, training, processes, and support needed to foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 5+ years of direct experience strategically supporting scaled testing, experimentation, and decision science within a sizeable organization
• 3+ years of proven experience in training and governing others in experimentation methodologies OR 8+ years of direct experience without a degree
• Experience conducting user research including usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation, and field research
• Applied understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts
• Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, user-centered design principles and practices
• Experience with Agile methodology and use of Jira to organize work

Requirements

• Experienced in weighing pragmatism against robust measurement to design and complete experiments (e.g., A/B/n test vs. pre-post analysis, learning agenda priorities)
• Coached and mentored junior team members, performing work through others
• A resourceful and driven problem solver with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to effectively deliver on projects supporting multiple business partners
• Great teammate and collaborator with deep experience partnering with cross-functional team members
