Role Description
The Digital Associate Marketing Manager contributes to the calling of Medical Teams International by supporting the execution, optimization, and day-to-day management of digital fundraising and engagement efforts across paid and owned channels. This role plays a key, hands-on role in delivering performance-driven campaigns — including managing and leading email, SMS, paid media, website, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and social initiatives — that support donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital fundraising campaigns across email, SMS, paid social/search, website, and social channels to support donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Execute the Medical Teams’ email marketing strategy using the email marketing solution, including segmentation, automation, A/B testing tools, and communications plan.

Manage SMS message setup, scheduling, QA, and coordination with fundraising and communications calendars.

Implement digital ad campaign strategies, monitor performance, and identify updates to maximize ROI and donor engagement.

Create, strategically place and manage social media posts, track engagement, and flag audience or reputation insights.

Manage day-to-day website updates and campaign landing pages using Medical Teams’ CMS solution, including content updates, layout coordination, basic UX improvements, SEO updates, donation flow support, and analytics integration.

Support SEO management, including on-page optimization, content updates, keyword alignment, and coordination with vendors, partners, or content teams.

Coordinate with the digital fundraising vendor for Medical Teams and partners by managing project timelines, creative approvals, asset delivery, and campaign execution tasks.

Coordinate with reputation platforms to support reviews, listings, and brand credibility across digital channels.

Monitor digital engagement, donation trends, and conversion metrics using Google Analytics and other analytics tools.

Prepare regular performance reports, support post-campaign debriefs, and document insights and recommendations.

Actively manage, organize, evaluate impact and optimize digital platforms (email, SMS, website CMS, analytics, ad platforms).

Execute online giving days, virtual events, and seasonal fundraising campaigns across email, SMS, web, paid, and social channels.

Ensure digital content aligns with Medical Teams’ brand standards, storytelling goals, and ethical communication practices across web, email, and advertising.

Engage and coordinate with vendors and agencies, including supporting briefs, creative reviews, timelines, and quality control.

Collaborate with Global Programs teams to support accurate and respectful representation of program work in digital communications.

Partner with the Philanthropy and the Development Operations teams to align messaging, campaign timing, and digital touchpoints across the donor journey.
Other Duties
-
Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies.

Support accountability across all aspects of assigned projects and day-to-day work, including campaign execution, documentation, vendor coordination, and reporting.

Utilize volunteers when appropriate.

Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum 4 years’ previous marketing experience, with progressively increasing responsibility in digital marketing or similar.

Experience supporting the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
-
Non-profit fundraising experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Working knowledge of digital marketing, online fundraising, and donor engagement strategies across paid, owned, and earned media channels.

Working familiarity with key digital platforms is required, including email marketing (Emma), website CMS (WordPress), Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics.

Understanding of A/B testing, campaign optimization, SEO fundamentals, UX principles, and responsive web best practices.
-
Knowledge of integrated digital campaign execution, including donor journeys, audience targeting, and basic conversion funnels.

Working knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM integrations to support segmentation, personalization, and reporting.

Working knowledge of on-page SEO execution, including metadata, keyword alignment, internal linking, and content optimization.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Asana) and creative review platforms (e.g. GoVisually).

Familiarity with budget tracking, invoicing, and expense documentation.

Skilled at executing and supporting multi-channel digital campaigns across email, SMS, paid social and search, website, SEO, and social platforms.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor performance data from Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, ad platforms, and reporting tools.

Skilled at performing quality assurance for digital campaigns, including testing links, forms, tracking, and content accuracy across channels.

Proficiency in using digital marketing platforms and tools, including email marketing (Emma), WordPress, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, analytics dashboards, and reputation platforms.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.

Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize campaign performance and insights for internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), collaboration and communication tools (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams), and CRM (or other database programs).

Salary Range
Please note that the typical hiring range is $70,000 - $85,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
