Role Description

This role involves managing advertising campaigns as a digital strategist.

Lead client accounts as the day-to-day client contact and strategist.
Run ad campaigns from start to finish, including:
- Write and review ad content, including spell check and policy check.
- Traffic ads to appropriate platforms.
- Monitor live campaigns and track performance.
- Generate detailed reports on campaign results.
- Coordinate with other Middle Seat departments for seamless execution.
Develop direct response media plans and lower-scale persuasion and awareness media plans.
Manage invoicing, budgeting, and escrow for the clients you lead.
Write compelling ad copy with clear theories of change.
Set up and review ad campaigns on all platforms.
Assist with A/B testing everything.
Review reporting each day and execute optimizations deftly.
Manage ad vendor communications and project management for external ad buys.
Manage client CRMs, including uploading client lists and building landing pages.
Project manage and delegate tasks to client partners.
Fulfill other responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications

1-2 years experience working on advertising campaigns with major platforms (Facebook, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, etc.)
Demonstrated commitment to progressive politics.
Attention to detail and organization while managing tight deadlines and multiple projects.
Enjoy working with a team but also a self-starter who will take projects to the next level.
Able to work extended hours when needed; comfortable being available for urgent client requests outside of normal business hours during election season.

Requirements

Strongly Preferred but Not Required:
- Agency Experience.
- Experience working in political CRMs (ActionKit, Action Network, EveryAction/NGP, NationBuilder, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS for landing page templating.
- Experience placing programmatic ads with The Trade Desk or equivalent buying platform.
