Role Description

Atlassian’s intern program combines hands-on technical training, professional development, mentorship, and social connections. This approach helps students start productively and positions them for a successful career at Atlassian. This position is not eligible for F-1 or J-1 students and does not offer work sponsorship. Our paid internship runs 12 weeks between May/June 2027 and August/September 2027.

We are seeking a Customer Engagement Marketing Intern to focus on persona-based marketing to C-suite executives and enterprise decision-makers globally. Responsibilities include:

• Inventory executive-facing thought leadership content and communications.
• Audit existing assets to identify gaps and opportunities across the customer journey.
• Identify current and future assets, along with reusable customer advocacy stories.
• Package them into connected nurture streams for C-suite executive audiences.

This internship focuses on creating lasting executive engagement assets and a connected content nurture journey that Global Marketing and GTM teams can use beyond the internship, including:

• Inventory executive-facing thought leadership content, assets, and customer-facing communications.
• Design a persona-based C-suite content packaging framework.
• Create a pre-, during-, and post-event nurture map for executive engagement.
• Produce a reusable enablement asset, such as an external C-suite executive persona messaging playbook.
• Work closely with the Brand Marketing Intern to audit AI and enterprise narrative across various platforms.
• Partner with various teams to validate recommendations and prepare deliverables for planning adoption.

Qualifications

• Ability to distill key takeaways from complex information.
• Understanding of how storytelling influences people toward action.
• Curiosity and passion for marketing and communications.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, returning after the internship, and graduating by June 2028.
• Ability to commit to a full-time internship (40 hours/week).
• Entry-level candidates with less than a year of professional experience (excluding internships and co-ops) are preferred.
