Role Description
Our client is looking for a Creative Strategist & Paid Media Lead who operates at the intersection of big ideas and measurable results. This is the most urgent hire on the teamβa performance-focused creative role that will own how the brand tells its story across YouTube and paid channels to drive growth for its leadership development app.

Lead creative strategy, develop and test ad concepts, analyze performance, and iterate quickly.

Collaborate closely with the broader content ecosystem, as well as agency and internal teams.

Qualifications
-
5+ years in creative strategy, paid media, or a hybrid role β with a meaningful portion focused on YouTube advertising.

Demonstrated track record of developing creative that drives measurable performance on YouTube, Meta, or both.

Experience writing ad scripts, creative briefs, and testing hypotheses β not just managing others who do.

Strong analytical skills: comfortable with ad manager dashboards, attribution models, and performance reporting.

Experience marketing digital products (apps, SaaS, subscriptions, or online courses) preferred.

Familiarity with B2C and B2B audiences; experience reaching leaders, HR professionals, or enterprise buyers a plus.

Experience managing or collaborating with external agencies without losing strategic control.

Must be US-based with full authorization to work in the United States.

Own our YouTube advertising strategy from concept to conversion.

Develop compelling hooks, ad formats, and narrative structures that stop the scroll, communicate value, and drive app downloads for Leaderful.

Understand how YouTube users think and what makes a pre-roll actually watchable.

Ideate scripts, direct creative briefs, and work with video editors and our agency to bring concepts to life.

Paid Media Creative Across Channels

Lead creative strategy for paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Develop ad concepts, test multiple creative angles simultaneously, and use performance data to make fast decisions.

Manage the creative pipeline to prevent ad fatigue and keep campaigns fresh.

Creative Concepting & Scriptwriting

Translate frameworks into ad scripts, hooks, and storytelling structures that resonate with leaders and organizations.

Write and refine ad copy, develop test hypotheses, and bring a point of view to every creative decision.

Performance Analysis & Optimization

Analyze creative performance data weekly.

Track CTR, watch time, conversion rate, ROAS, and CAC by creative variant.

Build a rigorous testing framework for every campaign.

Turn learnings into clear, actionable creative decisions.

Agency & Production Collaboration

Work closely with our external digital ad agency to ensure creative strategy leads the work.

Brief the agency clearly and hold them to brand and strategic standards.

Coordinate with video editors, designers, and content producers to maintain a consistent output cadence.

Brand Voice & Narrative Stewardship

Protect and evolve brand voice across paid creative.
