Role Description
We're hiring our first Creative Strategist. You'll own the creative side of every client account: the research, the angles, the scripts, and the quality of what goes live. You'll also build the creative system the agency runs on as it scales.
You'll report directly to the founder and work every day with our Client Success Manager, our media buyer, and our editing team.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
-
Research and strategy
-
Research each client's market: what is and isn't working in direct response ads and organic content.
-
Find the strongest angle for every client and turn it into a clear creative direction.
-
Briefs, scripts and copy
-
Write the briefs and ad scripts for our on-site video shoots.
-
Write the actual copy inside the scripts, not just the concepts, for both paid direct response ads and organic content.
-
Performance and iteration
-
Work side by side with the media buyer inside the ad accounts to see what has and hasn't worked for each client.
-
Spin new ads off the winners. The media buyer brings the analytics; you bring the creative quality.
-
Editing quality control
-
Coordinate with the editing team and act as the final quality checkpoint on every edited video before it goes live.
-
Build the creative system
-
Take our creative process from where it is today to where it needs to be in six months.
-
Improve and document the systems we run in Google Docs and Airtable so the team can scale them.
Qualifications
-
Proven direct response creative strategy experience: research, angles, briefs, and scripts.
-
Experience advertising for healthcare, medical clinics, med spas, or other local service businesses - required.
-
A strong copywriter who writes the script copy, not only the idea.
-
You understand both paid direct response ads and organic content.
-
You can read ad-account results with a media buyer and iterate on what's winning.
-
You know the Meta Ads Library well and are comfortable working inside a Meta ad account.
-
You've built creative systems or processes, not only worked inside someone else's.
-
Native or bilingual-level English and a strong understanding of U.S. audiences and culture.
-
Available MondayβFriday, 9 AMβ5 PM EST.
Requirements
-
Experience writing for on-site filmed video, not only UGC or static ads.
-
Experience leading or reviewing the work of video editors.
-
Airtable experience.
Who This Is Not For
-
You only come up with concepts and need someone else to write the copy.
-
You've never looked at ad performance data or worked alongside a media buyer.
-
You need a fully built creative playbook and someone telling you what to do every day.
Compensation
-
Base pay of $3,000β$5,000/month based on experience, plus a performance incentive tied to how your creatives perform in client accounts. On-Target Earnings of $7,000/month.
-
Full-time Contractor or 1099 contract.
-
100% remote, independent contractor (1099) role.
